Since I was young, I’ve always had an eye for jewelry. My Sri Lankan background played a big role in shaping my love for authentic, high-quality pieces. Even though I’ve always been a little shy, jewelry was the one thing that helped me start conversations naturally.

I’ve been designing jewelry for over 15 years—starting from rough sketches on paper, moving to clay, then to software, and finally seeing my designs come to life as real pieces in hand. This journey is the reason I never compromise on quality, design, pricing, or craftsmanship. Every piece reflects years of learning, experimenting, and deep respect for the art.

When I went abroad to study engineering, I realized something unexpected. Instead of using my tools and knowledge only for studying, I found myself sketching jewelry designs and working on them through software more than my actual coursework. Designing slowly became my escape and my comfort.

I was lucky enough to participate in a high-end brand competition—and I won. That moment gave me the confidence I needed. It showed me that people actually liked my designs and believed in my vision.

After coming back to Pakistan, I had a simple thought: if I fail, I’ll be sad—but if I never try, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.

That thought is what started Pyrah Jewels by Numrah V.

It’s been just a year since I started, and while the journey hasn’t been easy—there were scams, slow months, and tough days—there hasn’t been a single day when I wasn’t proud of my brand.
